Our second Annual Brunch event was a huge success and that is because of the many hands and hearts that helped in so many ways to help make this event, our best yet!
We are so grateful to our major sponsor for our event this year, Missing Polynesia!
We are also so grateful for donations from House of Glam Hawai’i, Kalepe Kookies, Modern Hibiscus, Susan G. Komen Hawai’i Foundation and private donors who believed in our vision and helped us through donations towards our wellness bags, our raffles and/ or monetary donations.
Our incredible speakers for our event: Poni Askew of Street Grindz and Pastor Taeao Tevaga of DOK (Daughters of the King), Inc. moved our audience with their messages of perseverance, resilience and faith. We are also grateful to our guest speakers: Susan G Komen Hawai’i Foundation Director Amanda Stevens and Wellness Coach on Feminine Power Victoria Arakawa for their insight into important topics for community of women to always remember.
We had an awesome event with some amazing vendors who brought different merchandise for our guests to shop and network with.
We had a wonderful turn out this year and we look forward to continue fostering genuine relationships with the women in our communities and beyond. But to get beyond we start here at home and work our way up to building a supportive community of like-minded women that we know understands our struggles, celebrates our wins and want the best for us.
We are excited for next year and can’t wait to announce our date and venue for 2020! Stay tuned as we continue to bring more community events to our local community here in Honolulu and hopefully-to a community near you!
